New York State Catholic Conference
Lawmakers are in the final days negotiating the 2018-19 State Budget, and aid for Catholic schools is at stake. Despite the support of legislators last year and this year to restore the "instructional time" formula upon which our schools receive mandated services reimbursement, there is stiff competition for limited resources. Unless this formula is restored, many of our schools will suffer a cut in their state funding. Knowing that lawmakers will provide an increase in support to public schools and charter schools, we need your help in a last minute push to ensure that aid to our schools is not cut. Please send the editable pre-written message provided. Your correct representatives will be selected automatically based on your address. Time is of the essence; please act now. It only takes a minute. Click the link to send your message.
