September:

The 4th graders have learned to use Growth Mindset strategies to push toward progress and positive change. We worked on our Growth Mindset Garden to strengthen our use of positive self-talk. 

Students learned about the 9/11 terrorist attack and especially about all first responders who risked their lives to save the lives of others. Students interviewed an adult who could give a recount of the day and shed light on why we never forget. We pray for those we have lost and those who are still dealing with the aftermath of the attacks.

Taco Tuesday Writing Workshop: Every Tuesday, students will be given a writing prompt to work on for the week. Students will be practicing and strengthening their writing skills to work up to four paragraphs by the spring of 2025.
