Our friends at the Tomorrow's Hope Foundation and St. Joseph's School in Garden City are sponsoring the Annual 5K Run and Fun Run to benefit the Tomorrow's Hope Foundation. The run is on April 1. The Fun Run begins at 8:30 am and the 5K at 9 am, rain or shine. Starting line is at St. Joseph School, 450 Franklin Avenue, Garden City. Click on this link to register.

As part of our school wide Day of Service inspired by the Corporal Works of Mercy, Miss McCormack's 7th grade ELA classes created a service project based on thier reading of A Long Walk to Water. Take a look at the short video that they made.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly, walking miles for contaminated water that will inevitably make them and their families sick. With your help, we can work towards providing safe, clean water to struggling communities in Africa.

Join us on December 11 for Bambinelli Sunday. Children are invited to bring the baby Jesus figure from your Nativity scene for a special blessing that is extended to family. The blessing will take place at the 9:30 am Family Mass in the School Chapel. Bambinelli means "little babies" in Italian. This is a Roman tradition that we celebrate here at St. Brigid's.
2022 5K Run/Walk
The 2022 5K will be a hybrid event, run in-person or virtually! The in-person date is Saturday morning, November 26. The Run/Walk begins at 9 am. The route is through the streets of our beautiful Village of Westbury. The Fun Run for Kids is from 8:30 am until 9 am. Fun activities and fellowship when you return to school. The Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for student shopping during school hours on Thursday, December 1, Friday, December 2, and Sunday, December 4. Evening hours are on Thursday, December 1, from 6 to 8 pm in the School Library. Online shopping is available at this link: StB/OLH Book Fair 2022
On October 4, we will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis with a service project and by blessing our pets. The Nursery and Pre-K classes are conducting a service project for local animal shelters. They are asking for donations of toys, treats, towels and blankets. Please send these items to school before October 4.
Our families are invited to bring their family pets to the traditional Blessing of the Animals beginning at 2:15 pm on October 4. We will gather by the Prayer Labyrinth for a prayer service and blessing. Please fill out the attached Google Form so we know how many 4, 6 and 8 legged friends to expect.
