Tuition is our single largest source of income, followed by Parish subsidies, Diocesan support and fundraising. It is expected that tuition accounts are kept current. The actual cost of educating each child is nearly $8,000 annually. In effect, all students/families are on scholarship.
Tuition payments are made through the FACTS Tuition Management system. More information can be found at this link to
FACTS.
Families are required to support their Parish through the use of envelopes while attending Sunday mass or by automated giving. Families who donate $500 during the calendar year receive a discounted tuition rate for the following school year.
We realize that parents/guardians may encounter hardship or require assistance in meeting their tuition obligation. In such situations, the parent/guardian is encouraged to confidentially discuss their situation with the Principal and Business Office.
If tuition is not up to date two weeks prior to parent/teacher conferences, your child’s assessment card will be held until tuition arrears are brought up to date. (A discussion of your child’s progress may still occur.) Once a family’s tuition is two payments behind, and there has been no communication with the Business Office, the children will not be permitted to attend school. All tuition arrears must be brought up to date before the children may return to class. Failure to comply within 48 hours may result in the withdrawal of students from St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School.
Registration for an upcoming school year will not be accepted if the current year’s tuition is not up to date.
