Uniform Dress Code

We ask parents to cooperate and support the formal dress code of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School. A complete uniform is required at all times. Disciplinary action is taken when students are out of uniform without permission.

Boys: Grades 1-8 
Navy blue slacks, regulation style and color, light blue shirts, (long or short sleeve), uniform tie. If your child wears a sweater, it must be a uniform sweater. Dress shirts and ties must be worn November through April. 

Girls: Grades 1-5 
Plaid school jumper, light blue blouse (long or short sleeve), uniform tie, navy blue or burgundy knee socks (navy or burgundy tights are permitted in cold weather). In cold weather, navy blue uniform slacks may be worn. If your child wears a sweater, it must be a uniform sweater. 

Girls: Grades 6-8 
Uniform skirt and vest, light blue blouse (long or short sleeve), burgundy or navy blue knee socks. In cold weather, navy blue slacks may be worn. If your child wears a sweater, it must be a uniform sweater. 

Boys & Girls: September, October, May and June 
Blue uniform shorts and short-sleeved light blue knit sport shirt with collar may be worn. No tie is worn with this shirt. 

Girls & Boys: Grades 1-8 Shoes
Uniform shoes are traditional blue/black Oxford tie shoes or blue/black penny loafers. Girls may also wear blue/black strap shoes. No high heeled or platform shoes are allowed. This will be strictly enforced. Sneakers may not be worn to school except for physical education class. 

Gym Uniforms: (Boys & Girls)
September, October, May and June: Official St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School gym shorts, light blue knit sport shirt and athletic sneakers are to be worn for physical education. 
November through April: Official school uniform sweat shirt, sweat pants, and athletic sneakers are to be worn for physical education. Athletic sneakers are permitted on the day of physical education class only. 
Kindergarten: All students attending Kindergarten are required to wear the official St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School sweat suit or shorts and knit shirt for physical education class.
